Comunilife, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide vulnerable communities with housing and culturally sensitive supportive services. We are committed to the vision that no one should be without the housing and supports they need to lead a healthy, meaningful life.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. To enhance your experience on our websites—Comunilife.org and comunilifelip.org (the “Sites”)—and to better understand the kinds of visitors using them, we may occasionally request information from you. This policy describes when information may be requested, how it benefits you, and our donor privacy protocols that help ensure you can support Comunilife securely and confidently.

Registration
Registration is not required to use our Sites.

Email Alerts and Notifications
Users have the opportunity to receive email alerts, e-newsletters and notifications about important news, events and information about Comunilife. If you opt into this services, we will ask for contact information (name, email, address, phone) and preferred method of communication and the type of information you would like to receive. As with all information we collect from you, we will never sell this information.

Disclosure
Comunilife will not sell any information collected on our Sites. However, we reserve the right to release information you have submitted if required by law.

Usage of Data
Comunilife does not collect data on website visitors. We currently use Google Analytics ™M to analyze data on third party sites, ie. Vertical Respone. Google Analytics™ is a “web analytics tool that helps website users to understand how visitors engage with their website. Google Analytics™ customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so they can make improvements.
Google Analytics™M collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.”

Google’s ability to use and share information, collected by Google Analytics ™M about your visit to the third party website, is restricted by the Google Analytics™ Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy respectively.

Our Sites may contain links to external websites. Comunilife is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites.

Our Use of Information
By providing information about yourself or your organization on our Sites, you consent to its internal use by Comunilife. We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. Any changes regarding how we use your information will be posted here.

Surveys
At times, our Sites may request information through voluntary surveys. You may choose whether or not to participate. Survey responses may include contact information (such as name and address) and demographic information (such as zip code or age). This information is used solely to help monitor and improve the quality, usability, and satisfaction of our Sites.

Donor-Specific Policies

Recognition of Contributions
Occasionally (once or twice a year), Comunilife will send out email or hard mail solicitations for support from individuals based on past contributions or otherwise identified interest. If you do not wish to be contacted for this purpose, please contact Comunilife at info@comunilife.org.

Solicitation opt-out option
Once or twice per year, Comunilife may send email or mailed requests for support based on previous contributions or expressed interest. If you do not wish to receive these solicitations, please email info@comunilife.org.

Anonymous Donor Status
Donors may choose to remain anonymous. If you select this option, we will not publish your name or affiliation on our website or printed materials. However, your information will remain in our donor database for required stewardship and internal tracking.

Third-Party Credit Card Processing
Comunilife does not process credit card information directly through our website. Donation links direct you to secure third-party services such as NY Charities and PayPal, each governed by their own privacy policies.
